I’ve been asked many times about how colloidal can be used daily, and about how I use colloidal silver in my own everyday routine.

7 Simple but Effective Ways I Use Colloidal Silver Every Day
1.) I spray my hair with 10ppm homemade colloidal silver after showering every day – no more dandruff! For many years, I struggled with stubborn dandruff. I had used the typical store brands and even the prescription version of the antifungal Nizoral shampoo. But in every case, the dandruff kept coming back.
I tried dietary changes, such as eliminating sugar and simple carbohydrates from my diet. I tried reducing stress. I tried washing my hair more often…and then less often.
I tried products that were supposed to add oil to the scalp and products that were supposed to dry out the scalp.
Nothing worked. The dandruff prevailed.
It wasn’t until 1997 or so, when I read an issue of Dr. James Balch’s newsletter on natural healing, Prescription for Healthy Living, that I finally understood why nothing I had tried was working.
According to Dr. Balch, many cases of dandruff are simply low-level topical candida yeast infections. And, as experienced colloidal silver users know, colloidal silver works wonders against candida yeast fungus. Ever since I started using colloidal silver on my head, my dandruff has vanished!

2.) I spray colloidal silver lightly onto my face after showering, and let it air dry. Now, my hairstylist, who is 20 years younger than me, keeps asking me “What do you use on your face each day to keep the skin so young and soft?” When I tell her the only thing I use is colloidal silver, she just can’t believe it. But Dr. Robert O. Becker’s work with electrically generated silver demonstrated time and time again that it was one of the best remedies for the skin, keeping skin cells supple and young and healthy!
By the way, our teenage friend who had severe acne found that spraying his face each morning with colloidal silver reduced his acne by over 70%. Drinking a few ounces of homemade colloidal silver each day took care of the other 30%!
Why? In short, when the pores of the skin become plugged up with guck, they also become conducive to harboring colonies of various bacteria – including Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis and sometimes even Staphylococcus aureus…and colloidal silver works wonders against staph!

3.) I spray colloidal silver directly onto my toothbrush along with my toothpaste each time I brush – now, bleeding gums are a thing of the past! As an article from the Easy Health Options website points out, a bacterium called Streptococcus mutans, which lives on your teeth and gums can cause dental cavities and plaque. It can even make its way to your heart and cause dangerous cardiac infections!
The good news is, according to a 1999 study conducted at Brigham Young University, the bacterium Streptococcus mutans was inhibited and destroyed using a relatively weak concentration of just 5 ppm of colloidal silver.
Recent studies have also demonstrated that antimicrobial silver is also extremely effective against oral fungal pathogens that can cause mouth infections – so much so, clinical researchers are now looking at developing a commercial mouthwash containing silver as the main active ingredient.

4.) I also rinse my toothbrush with warm water after each brushing, and then spray it lightly with colloidal silver before putting it into the toothbrush holder. I just let it air dry in the toothbrush holder, so the silver particles stay on the toothbrush bristles. That way, there’s no germ buildup on the toothbrush when I go to use it next.
What’s more, experts say that your toothbrush is one of the filthiest implements in your home. You see, during flushing (with the toilet seat up) many thousands of extremely fine droplets of toilet water are sprayed up into the air, traveling as much as 20 feet. These fine droplets of toilet water can hover in the air for as long as two hours, eventually settling on all surfaces throughout the bathroom.
Luckily, colloidal silver is a very powerful, all-natural liquid antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral agent that kills pathogens within moments of contact. That’s why I keep a small pump spray bottle full of colloidal silver to hand in the cabinet under the sink. I lightly spray not only toothbrushes, but also combs, hairbrushes or just about any common bathroom item with it.
The tiny silver particles in the fine mist from the pump spray bottle will quickly air dry on the items I’ve sprayed, and provide antimicrobial protection above and beyond what most any commercial antiseptic spray can provide (and obviously far, far safer to use on implements you put in your mouth!).

5.) After brushing my teeth, I briefly rinse the bowl of my sink out to get rid of any yucky toothpaste residue. Then I lightly spray the sink – including the bowl, handles, faucet, etc. – with colloidal silver and allow it to air dry. I just keep a fine mist pump spray bottle full of 10 ppm colloidal silver under the sink, and use it to lightly spray colloidal silver over the toilet, bathroom countertop, and over sinks and faucets, at least once a day when I’m cleaning or using the restroom.
All you have to do is mist the colloidal silver lightly into the air directly over areas like countertops, and allow it to gently fall to the countertop and air dry. This will provide many hours – even days – of safe, effective, all-natural, disinfectant protection.
The disinfectant power of colloidal silver is very strong, even at very low levels. So, you don’t need to become obsessed with using it every single time the bathroom is used. Just once a day, and your bathroom will be as germ-free as you can get it!

6.) At night, I run a cool mist vaporizer in our bedroom because here in the southwest U.S., humidity is very low and I often wake up in the middle of the night with a dry, scratchy throat. The cool mist vaporizer eliminates that problem.
What’s more, whenever I’ve felt a cold, flu sore throat, sinus congestion or sniffles of any kind coming on, I add four or five ounces of my homemade micro-particle colloidal silver to the water in the vaporizer’s reservoir, turn the unit on, put my face right over the cool mist spout, and breathe deeply of the gently flowing silver-laced mist. And I’ve found that it often knocks out budding infections in record time!

7.) I take a “colloidal silver shooter” just before breakfast. I take about an ounce (a regular-sized shot glass) of colloidal silver daily, and I’ve done so for over 20 years as part of my ongoing nutritional supplement regimen.
At times, if I feel I need more, I take more. But generally speaking about an ounce a day keeps me feeling healthy as a horse and infection-free!
